Good news: As Leeds United and Sheffield United outstanding player are about to finalise a four-year deal…

That’s according to Mike McGrath of The Telegraph, with the 23-year-old out of contract at Bramall Lane next summer. Bogle signed for the Blades in 2020 after a double swoop from Derby County, which also included Max Lowe as part of the deal.

Following several departures this summer, notably those of Luke Ayling, Jamie Shackleton, and Connor Roberts, Leeds is lacking options at right-back. At the end of the season, the latter’s loan from Burnley expired, and Leeds has not yet made an attempt to sign him long-term.

Leeds United is interested in Jayden Bogle of Sheffield United.

Although McGrath reports that they are planning to pursue a similar attacking player who has primarily played as a right-back or wing-back in his career, that transfer may not have worked out.

He started 32 of the 38 games the Blades played in the Premier League last season, making a significant impact. However, he is approaching the end of his contract at Bramall Lane and may be headed for a move away while Sheffield United can still turn a profit.

Leeds United has its eye on Jayden Bogle.

Many teams would also be eager to reach a low-cost agreement since Sheffield United’s negotiating position was undermined in relation to Bogle this summer. Although they will undoubtedly be hesitant to sell to a competitor for a promotion, there isn’t much they can do if the offer is high for a player they won’t be losing for nothing in the summer.

With 118 appearances at the second division level for teams like Derby County and the Blades, he would also bring a wealth of Championship experience to Leeds. If Leeds are willing to sign someone for less than their market value at an off-season, he might be available for a small fee.

In addition to having a better career injury record than Sam Byram, he is seasoned for his age and is a very viable alternative for the Whites at full-back, even though he and Firpo would be a very aggressive combination overlapping down the sides.
