BREAKING: Boston Bruins prospect declared that he will be taking a sabbatical from hockey…

Prospect Cole Spicer of the Boston Bruins has stated that he will be taking a break from hockey and quitting the University of Minnesota-Duluth hockey team. Spicer had played his final two seasons at UMD before being selected by the Bruins in the fourth round of the 2022 NHL Draft.

Spicer gave the Duluth News Tribune’s Matt Wellens confirmation of the choice. In order to concentrate on some personal and mental health issues, he also stated that he will no longer be playing hockey. The 20-year-old centre was ruled academically ineligible and missed the second half of the previous season.
