Report: New interest emerges for in-demand former Portsmouth favourite who wants Norwich City exit.

The Blues are well-known admirers of the former Pompey loanee, who has courted more suitors than a Taylor Swift concert ticket on the black market this summer.

Since the 21-year-old’s 10-goal, 11-assist stint at Fratton Park ended at the end of the previous season, Southampton, Hull, Leicester, and Stoke have all been linked to him, joining the likes of Brentford, Freiburg, and Anderlect in becoming members of the Kamara fan club.

Naturally, the word coming from Carrow Road hasn’t changed—that the Canaries, who wish to hold onto their academy product, still highly value the young forward.

But after failing to play either of Norwich’s first two Championship games, Kamara submitted a transfer request this week. It is said that Rangers, another formidable would-be groupie, was drawn to Kamara’s desire to move away.

Football Scotland claims that the Ibrox team has Kamara on their short list of possible transfer targets. Manager Philippe Clement is also rumoured to be prepared to put his Canaries counterpart Johannes Hoff Thorup to the test by trying to get moves for some of his fringe players, such as former Norwich forward Todd Cantwell.

The recently capped England Under-20 international, according to the report from north of the border, would be available for a cost of around £2 million, with personal terms not being something the Scottish powerhouses would object to.

The winger Tiago Gouveia of Benfica and the attacker Morgan Whittaker of Plymouth are reportedly on the Gers’ “shortlist” of targets.

At Fratton Park, Messrs. Mousinho and Hughes won’t take this news well. Pompey has consistently expressed their belief that a trade will be made, even though they have never disguised their desire to entice Kamara back to PO4.

Mousinho stated, “It’s the same spot, it’s the same spot with Abu,” in an interview with The News on Wednesday.

Although we don’t mind talking about him because he was here the previous year, I am aware that he has a contract with Norwich. With Abu, we’re in the exact same situation as we were last week; nothing has changed.

It’s safe to assume that Kamara’s chances of returning to Fratton Park are dwindling, particularly if Football Scotland’s stated transfer fee is to be believed.

The current transfer window is still open for another week. There is obviously enough time for the former Fratton favourite to spark even more interest in that amount of time. If this trend continues, it won’t be long until big-spending Chelsea tries to get a piece of Kamara’s alleged ever-growing fame!
