Jimmy Butler throws watch party with suspended Miami Heat teammates
There were repercussions for the Miami Heat and New Orleans Pelicans’ little altercation. Jimmy Butler, a top player
for the Heat, and Nikola Jovic received one-game suspensions in the aftermath. Thomas Bryant scored three.
Butler and Jovic missed the Heat’s victory over the Sacramento Kings on Monday night in order to fulfil their one-
game suspension. The three players hosted a watch party at Mikuni, a restaurant close to Sacramento, with Bryant.

Butler posted a number of images and videos from the event to his Instagram stories. Butler asks Jovic how to
pronounce “let’s go Heat” in Serbian after cheering “let’s go” in one of them.
The players watched their teammates play basketball while indulging in some appetizing-looking sushi. The Heat
prevailed against the Kings 121-110 in a game that typified “Heat Culture” victory.
Jaime Jaquez scored 26 and Bam Adebayo scored 28, covering for the suspended Butler with Caleb Martin, Delon
Wright, and Haywood Highsmith.
