SAD NEWS: Celtics coach reportedly considering a move to Tottenham following Ange Postecoglou’s dismissal…

Is Ange Postecoglou in danger if the Celtic manager replaces Tottenham’s incumbent?

The 2024–25 season hasn’t started as Tottenham Hotspur fans would have liked under Ange Postecoglou. They are under pressure since

they only have seven Premier League points out of a potential fifteen and just avoided losing to Coventry City in the Carabao Cup.

The larger issues, however, seem to be Postecoglou’s disjointed reaction to system failure and the team’s performance. In front of these

challenges, Spurs fans are concerned about a rumour that has emerged.

According to Liverpool ECHO, oddsmakers have forecast that Postecoglou will be sacked before the season ends.

Brendan Rodgers, the manager of Celtics and a former Liverpool player, is the frontrunner to succeed the Tottenham

manager, who has an 8/11 probability of being dismissed by Christmas. Rodgers’ current 5/1 odds of unseating Spurs

coach Gregg Jarre are under scrutiny.

It’s not entirely surprising that Brendan Rodgers is suddenly the front-runner. Bookmakers view him as a

respectable candidate because of his performance at Celtic and his previous Premier League experience.

However, it seems a little early to claim that Tottenham is really considering Postecoglou’s replacement just yet.

After all, football can be somewhat unpredictable, and during the first few months of the season, especially when a

new system is being implemented, teething issues are typical.

If the Celtic manager succeeds Tottenham’s current manager, is Ange Postecoglou in jeopardy?

The most interesting part is that Rodgers has had a challenging time returning to Celtic and has only recently started

to find his rhythm again.

The Northern Irishman probably wouldn’t want to give up on his initiative just yet. Although sports are

unpredictable, it doesn’t seem realistic for Rodgers to leave Celtic for Tottenham right now after Postecoglou did the

same thing.

Even though these statistics and claims have the potential to stir things up, they usually lose steam very quickly,

especially when credible sources offer clarification.

As of now, no such explanation has been provided, so supporters of Tottenham and Celtic shouldn’t be unduly

alarmed. Postecoglou still has time to turn things around at Spurs, so this report feels more like a blip than a serious

reason to be concerned unless more specific information comes to light.
