Sabaton Announces Departure of Guitarist Tommy Johansson

The departure of Sabaton’s long-time guitarist Tommy Johansson has been formally confirmed. Johansson’s seven-

year time with the band comes to an end with the announcement, which was made earlier today in an emotional

social media post. Since joining Sabaton in 2016, Johansson has played a significant role in the group’s recent

achievements.

In their statement, the band conveyed a strong sense of respect and unity among themselves. Johansson will remain

with the band until a new guitarist is completely incorporated into the lineup, according to Sabaton, who guarantees

a seamless transition despite his departure.

Johansson’s own statements echoed his bandmates’ sentiments. He explained that he had to go in order to follow his

passion. With intentions to continue touring with his second project, Majestica, and other musical endeavours, he
