Despite never attending OSU, LeBron James has a long history with the football and basketball teams. In the Schottenstein Centre, he even has a locker. James has frequently sent equipment to the football team for big games over the previous 20 years, and the Oregon game will be no exception.Columbus, Ohio Ohio State football’s most well-known fan is helping the team style once again as it participates in yet another important regular-season game. Even though he never played on the football or basketball teams, LeBron James has long been connected to both to school at OSU. He even has a locker inside the Schottenstein Center. Big games over the past two decades have often meant James sending over gear to the football team, and the Oregon game will be no dif ferent.o different.
The Buckeyes will debut a new pair of the cleat versions of James’ “Vapor Edge Zoom LBJ IV” sneakers for Saturday’s prime-time matchup.
This is the latest thing the four-time NBA MVP has done for the program. The last prominent one came ahead of the 2022 season when he gave the Buckeyes a pair of cleats before a season-opening game against Notre Dame. He also attended that game with his son and now Lakers teammate, Bronny James, who was on an official visit to Ohio State.
In other years, he’s given the football team exclusive Beat By Dre headphones during the regular season and heading into postseason games. In 2017 he gifted them a cleated version of the “Zoom Soldier 10″ — his team shoe edition — for games against Penn State and Michigan.
