ANNOUNCEMENT: Pantera Announces 2024-2025 World Tour and Exciting New Album

Legendary Heavy Metal Band Returns with a Roar

The wait is finally over for Pantera fans around the world! In a thrilling announcement today, the iconic heavy metal

band confirmed they will be hitting the road for their 2024-2025 world tour, bringing their unparalleled brand of

thrash and groove to stages across the globe. And that’s not all — the band also revealed that a new album is on the

way, marking their first full-length release in over two decades.

A Triumphant Return to the Stage

Since their reunion in 2023, which saw the surviving members — drummer Vinnie Paul’s brother, Phil Anselmo

(vocals) and Rex Brown (bass) — teaming up with Zakk Wylde (guitar) and Charlie Benante (drums), Pantera has

been wowing fans with explosive live performances. With this tour, they’re ready to take things to the next level, with

an expanded setlist, stunning visuals, and a lineup that includes some of the heaviest hitters in metal.

“This is a huge moment for us,” said Anselmo in a statement. “We’re not just celebrating the legacy of Pantera, we’re

pushing it forward. Our fans have been incredibly supportive, and we can’t wait to bring our new music and our

energy to stages worldwide.”

Wylde, who is filling the monumental role of guitarist left by Dimebag Darrell’s tragic passing in 2004, echoed

Anselmo’s enthusiasm. “Dime’s spirit is with us every time we play, and this tour is going to be a celebration of

everything Pantera stands for. Expect the unexpected.”

The upcoming tour will span across multiple continents, with stops in North America, Europe, South America, and

Asia. Pantera promises a mix of classic hits like “Walk,” “Cowboys from Hell,” and “Cemetery Gates,” as well as some

fresh material from their forthcoming album.

New Music: A New Chapter for Pantera

Alongside the tour announcement, Pantera revealed they are working on a brand new album set for release in late

2024. This will be the band’s first studio album since 2000’s Reinventing the Steel, and it will feature new songs as

well as guest collaborations from some of heavy metal’s most influential artists.

“We’ve been working on some really exciting new material,” said Rex Brown. “This album is going to be heavy, raw,

and real. We’re bringing the intensity that we’ve always been known for, but also evolving with where we are as a

band now.”

Pantera fans can expect a blend of the band’s signature groove metal sound, combined with elements of their newer

influences, as well as some surprises that will make this album a milestone in their storied career.

A Legacy That Lives On

Pantera’s influence on the heavy metal genre cannot be overstated. From their groundbreaking 1990 album Cowboys

from Hell to their 1994 classic Vulgar Display of Power, the band reshaped the sound and attitude of thrash and

groove metal. Their uncompromising style and legendary live performances set them apart as one of the most

important bands in the history of the genre.

Despite the tragic loss of Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul, Pantera’s impact continues to resonate with fans old and

new. The return of Anselmo, Brown, Wylde, and Benante is a testament to the enduring legacy of the band and the

timeless power of their music.

The 2024-2025 Pantera World Tour kicks off in North America in early 2024, with European dates scheduled for the

summer. Fans can expect to see Pantera perform at some of the largest arenas and festivals in the world.
