Slade Unreleased Masterpiece “Eternal Flame” Set to Drop After 30 Years
London, UK – Legendary British rock band Slade is set to release their long-lost, unreleased masterpiece “Eternal Flame” after a staggering 30-year wait.
Recorded in the early 1990s, “Eternal Flame” was intended to be Slade’s 16th studio album. However, due to internal conflicts and label issues, the album was shelved, leaving fans wondering what could have been.
According to guitarist Dave Hill:
“We’re thrilled to finally share ‘Eternal Flame’ with the world. This album represents a pivotal moment in Slade’s history, and we’re proud to have it see the light of day.”
The 12-track album features classic Slade anthems, including the title track “Eternal Flame,” “Burnin’ Fire,” and “Thunderbolt.” The album has been meticulously restored and remastered from the original tapes.
“Eternal Flame” is set to drop on October 15, 2025, through BMG Records. The album will be available on CD, vinyl, and digital formats.
To celebrate the album’s release, Slade will embark on a limited UK tour, featuring performances of the new material alongside classic hits.
