BREAKING NEWS: REO Speedwagon to Release Lost Album and Embark on Final Farewell Tour with Original Members

 

In a shocking turn of events, REO Speedwagon has announced that they will be releasing a lost album, titled “Timeless,” which was recorded in 1985 but never released due to a dispute with their record label at the time. The album features 10 previously unreleased tracks, including a haunting ballad called “Echoes in the Night” and a high-energy rocker titled “Electric Storm.”

 

But that’s not all – the band has also revealed that they will be embarking on a final farewell tour, featuring the original lineup of Kevin Cronin, Gary Richrath, Neal Doughty, Alan Gratzer, and Greg Philbin. This will be the first time the original members have shared the stage together in over 30 years, and fans are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to see them perform together one last time.

 

The “Timeless” album will be released on February 14, 2025, and will be available on CD, vinyl, and digital formats. The farewell tour, dubbed “The Final Ride,” will kick off on March 1, 2025, in Chicago and will make stops in over 50 cities across the United States and Canada.

 

“We’re thrilled to finally share this lost album with our fans,” said Kevin Cronin. “And to have the opportunity to perform with the original lineup one last time is a dream come true. We’re going to give it everything we’ve got and make this tour one to remember.”

 

Gary Richrath, who left the band in 1989, added, “I’m excited to be back with my old friends and to play these songs one more time. It’s going to be a wild ride, and I’m honored to be a part of it.”
