BREAKING NEWS: Talking Heads to Reunite for One-Last-Time World Tour and Release New Music After 30 Years!

 

In a shocking turn of events, Talking Heads has announced that they will be reuniting for a one-last-time world tour, which will kick off in June 2025 and will feature over 50 dates across North America, Europe, and Australia. The tour, dubbed “The Final Encore,” will be a celebration of the band’s iconic music and legacy, and will feature a career-spanning setlist that includes all of their biggest hits, as well as some surprises and deep cuts.

 

But that’s not all – the band has also revealed that they have been secretly working on new music, and will be releasing a brand-new album, titled “Reconnected,” in May 2025. The album will be their first new music in over 30 years, and will feature 12 new tracks that showcase the band’s signature blend of art rock, funk, and new wave styles.

 

“We’re thrilled to be getting back together and performing for our fans one last time,” said David Byrne in a statement. “We’ve been working on some amazing new music, and we can’t wait to share it with the world. This tour and album are going to be a celebration of our legacy, and a chance for us to reconnect with our fans and give them a show they’ll never forget.”

 

The “Final Encore” tour will feature the band’s classic lineup, including David Byrne, Chris Frantz, Tina Weymouth, and Jerry Harrison, and will include a mix of old and new material. The tour will also feature a state-of-the-art production, with stunning visuals and lighting that will bring the band’s music to life in a way that fans have never seen before.
