Accept Band Unveils Lost Album ‘Metal Heartbeat’ After 39 Years

 

Frankfurt, Germany – The German heavy metal band Accept has announced the discovery of a previously lost album, ‘Metal Heartbeat’, which was recorded in 1984. The album has been unearthed from the band’s archives after 39 years and is set to be released on October 15, 2025.

 

‘Metal Heartbeat’ is a collection of 10 tracks that were recorded during the same sessions as the band’s iconic album ‘Balls to the Wall’. The album features the band’s classic lineup, including Udo Dirkschneider on vocals, Wolf Hoffmann on guitar, Herman Frank on guitar, Peter Baltes on bass, and Stefan Kaufmann on drums.

According to Wolf Hoffmann, the band’s lead guitarist, ‘Metal Heartbeat’ was initially intended to be released as a follow-up to ‘Balls to the Wall’, but the band decided to shelve the project and focus on other endeavors. “We’re thrilled to finally release ‘Metal Heartbeat’ after all these years,” says Hoffmann. “The album is a testament to the band’s creative energy and passion during that era, and we’re excited to share it with our fans.”
