JOHNNY MARR ANNOUNCES NEW CONCEPT ALBUM: “ECHOES IN THE ATTIC” SET FOR RELEASE ON OCTOBER 15TH

Manchester, UK – Guitar legend Johnny Marr has announced the release of his new concept album, “Echoes in the Attic”, which is set to drop on October 15th. The album is a deeply personal and introspective work, exploring themes of memory, nostalgia, and the passage of time.

According to Marr, “Echoes in the Attic” is a concept album that tells the story of a fictional character who returns to their childhood home after a long absence, only to discover that the house is filled with echoes of the past. The album follows the character’s journey as they navigate the memories and emotions that arise from this experience.

Musically, the album promises to be a departure from Marr’s previous work, incorporating a range of influences from psychedelia to electronic music. Marr has been working with a variety of collaborators, including producer Flood and drummer Stephen Street, to create a sound that is both experimental and accessible.

“I’ve always been fascinated by the way that memories can be triggered by certain sounds or smells,” Marr said in a statement. “With ‘Echoes in the Attic’, I wanted to create an album that captures the essence of this experience, and explores the ways in which our memories shape us into the people we are today.”

The album will feature 10 tracks, including the singles “Ghost Frequency” and “Lost in the Haze”. A limited edition vinyl release will also be available, featuring exclusive artwork and a bonus track.
