ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND UNRELEASED EPIC SINGLE ‘ELECTRIC SINGLE’ SET TO DROP AFTER 38 YEARS

Macon, GA – In a thrilling announcement, the Allman Brothers Band has revealed that their unreleased epic single, “Electric Single”, is finally set to drop after 38 years. The highly anticipated track, which was recorded in 1987, has been hidden away in the band’s archives until now.

“Electric Single” is a sprawling, 12-minute epic that showcases the band’s signature blend of southern rock, blues, and jazz. The track features a mesmerizing guitar duel between Warren Haynes and Dickey Betts, as well as a soaring vocal performance from Gregg Allman.

“We’re thrilled to finally share ‘Electric Single’ with the world,” said Warren Haynes, guitarist and vocalist for the Allman Brothers Band. “This song has been a favorite of ours for decades, and we’re excited to see how fans will react to it.”

The song was recorded during the band’s “Dreams” era, but was ultimately left off the album due to its lengthy runtime. Despite its omission, “Electric Single” has become a legendary track among Allman Brothers fans, with many speculating about its existence and eagerly awaiting its release.

“Electric Single” will be released on September 15th, 2025, as a limited edition vinyl single, as well as a digital download. The track will also be included on a forthcoming deluxe reissue of the band’s “Dreams” album, which is set to feature a range of unreleased tracks and rarities.
