Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have expanded their 2025 European tour with the addition of
eight new shows. This exciting news comes as the band prepares for a previously rescheduled tour that
was initially set for this year. The tour is set to kick off on May 17, 2025, in Manchester, England, and
will include performances in cities like Marseille, Prague, and Milan, where they haven’t played in recent
years.
Earlier this year, Springsteen had to postpone several European dates due to vocal issues, a decision
made on medical advice. The band announced that they would not perform for ten days following the
cancellation of their show at the Orange Vélodrome in Marseille. However, fans can now look forward to
rescheduled performances, including Marseille on May 31, 2025, Prague on June 15, and Milan on June
30 and July 3.
The new tour dates will see the band making stops in multiple cities across England, France, Germany,
and Spain, showcasing their dynamic live performances. Springsteen expressed his enthusiasm about
returning to the stage, emphasizing the bond he shares with his audience. His dedication to performing
is evident as he stated, “I plan on continuing until the wheels fall off, and for as long as the audience will
follow me.”
In addition to the tour announcement, Springsteen has also shared a trailer for his upcoming
documentary, “Road Diary: BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND the E Street Band,” set to premiere on Hulu
on October 25. The film chronicles Springsteen’s latest world tour, highlighting his resilience and
passion for music, particularly during the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
As anticipation builds for the newly added tour dates, fans are encouraged to check the band’s website
for ticket information and further details. The 2025 European tour promises to be a memorable
celebration of Springsteen’s enduring legacy and musical journey.
