CAMEL FORMER BAND MEMBERS SET TO REUNITE FOR TRIBUTE TOUR
London, UK – In a shocking announcement, former members of the iconic progressive rock band Camel have revealed plans to reunite for a tribute tour, honoring the legacy of the band’s classic sound.
The tour, which is set to kick off in the spring, will feature a lineup of former Camel members, including Andrew Latimer, Colin Bass, Ton Scherpenzeel, Andy Ward, and Jan Schelhaas.
“We’re thrilled to be getting back together to celebrate the music of Camel and to pay tribute to our dear friends and bandmates,” said Andrew Latimer, Camel’s guitarist and vocalist. “We’ve got a fantastic set list planned, featuring all of the band’s biggest hits, as well as some surprises along the way.”
The tour will take the band to cities across the UK and Europe, with dates also planned for North America and Australia. Fans can expect to hear all of Camel’s classic hits, including “Lady Fantasy,” “The Snow Goose,” and “Never Let Go,” as well as some of the band’s lesser-known tracks.
“We’re really looking forward to getting back out on the road and performing the music that we love,” said Colin Bass, Camel’s bassist. “It’s going to be a fantastic tour, and we can’t wait to share it with our fans.”
The reunion tour is a testament to the enduring legacy of Camel, who were one of the most influential and successful bands of the 1970s. With their unique blend of rock, jazz, and classical music, the band built a loyal following and released a string of hit albums and singles.
