CAMEL UNVEILS LOST ALBUM ‘DUST AND DREAMS’ AFTER 38 YEARS
London, UK – In a shocking move, legendary progressive rock band Camel has announced the release of their lost album, ‘Dust and Dreams’, after an astonishing 38 years. The album, which was originally recorded in 1984, has been hidden away in the band’s archives, waiting for the perfect moment to be unveiled.
According to Andrew Latimer, Camel’s founding member and guitarist, ‘Dust and Dreams’ was intended to be the follow-up to their 1982 album ‘The Single Factor’. However, due to various reasons, including label changes and personal struggles, the album was never completed or released.
“We’re thrilled to finally share this lost gem with our fans,” Latimer said in a statement. “The music on ‘Dust and Dreams’ is some of the most experimental and innovative we’ve ever created, and we’re excited to see how it will be received after all these years.”
The album features eight tracks, including the epic 12-minute title track ‘Dust and Dreams’, which showcases the band’s signature blend of progressive rock, jazz, and classical influences. Other notable tracks include ‘Lost in the Haze’, ‘Echoes of Yesterday’, and ‘Shadows on the Wall’.
‘Dust and Dreams’ will be released on March 15, 2025, in various formats, including CD, vinyl, and digital download. The album will also include a bonus disc featuring rare and unreleased material from the same era.
