CAST UNVEILS LOST ALBUM ‘BLACK KNIGHT’ AFTER 22 YEARS
Liverpool, UK – In a surprise announcement, British rock band Cast has revealed that they will be releasing a lost album, titled ‘Black Knight’, which was recorded 22 years ago but never saw the light of day.
The album, which was originally recorded in 2001, was intended to be the follow-up to their critically acclaimed album ‘Magic Hour’. However, due to internal conflicts and label issues, the album was shelved and remained unreleased.
According to lead vocalist and guitarist John Power, “We’re thrilled to finally share ‘Black Knight’ with our fans. It’s an album that we’re incredibly proud of, and it’s amazing to think that it’s been sitting in the vaults for over two decades.”
The album features 12 tracks, including the singles “Black Knight” and “Echoes”. The album was produced by John Leckie, who has worked with the band on several occasions.
Cast will be releasing ‘Black Knight’ on vinyl, CD, and digital formats on October 22, 2025. To coincide with the release, the band will be performing a series of live shows in the UK, with dates to be announced soon.
Fans can pre-order ‘Black Knight’ now and receive an instant download of the title track.
