FOO FIGHTERS ANNOUNCE NEW CONCEPT ALBUM RELEASE DATE
The wait is finally over for Foo Fighters fans as the band has announced the release date for their highly anticipated new concept album, _But Here We Are_. The album, which has been shrouded in mystery, will hit shelves on June 2, 2023.
According to a statement from the band, _But Here We Are_ is a thematic masterpiece that explores the complexities of human relationships, technology, and the search for meaning in a chaotic world. The album will feature 12 tracks, including the hit single “Rescued”, which was released earlier this year to critical acclaim.
“We’re incredibly excited to share this new music with our fans,” said lead vocalist and guitarist Dave Grohl. “We’ve been working on this album for over a year, and it’s been a labor of love. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
The concept album will be the band’s 11th studio album and will mark a new chapter in their illustrious career. Foo Fighters have been teasing the album on social media, releasing cryptic messages and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the making of the record.
_But Here We Are_ will be available in a variety of formats, including CD, vinyl, and digital download. Fans can pre-order the album now and receive an instant download of the single “Rescued”.
To coincide with the album’s release, Foo Fighters will embark on a massive world tour, with dates announced for North America, Europe, and Australia. The tour will feature a unique stage design and a setlist that will showcase the band’s entire catalog, including songs from _But Here We Are_.
Foo Fighters have also announced a series of intimate, acoustic shows, where Grohl will perform solo, playing stripped-down versions of the band’s biggest hits. These shows will be limited to just 100 tickets per show and will be available only to fans who purchase a special VIP package.
The VIP package, which includes a meet-and-greet with Grohl, a signed guitar, and a personalized photo, will be available for purchase on the Foo Fighters’ website. A portion of the proceeds will go to support music education programs in schools.
