TRAGEDY STRIKES OHIO STATE FOOTBALL COMMUNITY: FORMER STAR PASSED AWAY DUE TO FOOD POISONING

Columbus, OH – In a shocking and devastating turn of events, former Ohio State football standout, Chic Harley, passed away unexpectedly on yesterday due to complications from food poisoning. The news sent shockwaves throughout the Buckeyes’ community, with fans, coaches, and teammates mourning the loss of a beloved figure.

Chic Harley, 32, was a key contributor to Ohio State’s success during his playing career(1971-1973). The talented RB helped lead the Buckeyes to two Big Ten championships.

According to reports, Chic Harley fell ill after consuming contaminated food at a local restaurant. He was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to severe food poisoning.

“We are heartbroken to learn of Chic Harley passing,” said Ohio State Head Coach Ryan Day. “He was an exceptional player, but more importantly, an outstanding person. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.”

A memorial service will be held at Ohio Stadium on 20th september 2024 to honor Chic Harley’s life and legacy.

Investigation Underway

The Franklin County Health Department has launched an investigation into the food poisoning incident, working closely with local authorities.

“This tragic event serves as a stark reminder of the importance of food safety,” said Dr.Jones , Franklin County Health Commissioner.

The restaurant in question has been temporarily closed pending the outcome of the investigation.
