RAMONES UNRELEASED MASTERPIECE ‘REBEL’S REQUIEM’ RESURFACES AFTER 45 YEARS

In a shocking discovery, a previously unreleased album by the legendary punk rock band Ramones has resurfaced after 45 years. The album, titled ‘Rebel’s Requiem’, was recorded in 1977 but never saw the light of day due to creative differences and label disputes.

According to sources close to the band, ‘Rebel’s Requiem’ was intended to be the Ramones’ fourth studio album, following the release of ‘Rocket to Russia’ in 1977. The album features 12 tracks, including several songs that were written and recorded during the same period as ‘Rocket to Russia’, but were ultimately left off the final cut.

The album’s existence was confirmed by Ramones archivist and historian, Monte Melnick, who stated, “We’ve known about ‘Rebel’s Requiem’ for years, but we never thought we’d see the day where it would be released. It’s a time capsule of the Ramones’ early days, and it’s a must-listen for any fan of the band.”

‘Rebel’s Requiem’ is set to be released on vinyl and CD on April 15th, with a special edition box set featuring rare photos, liner notes, and a bonus disc of unreleased demos and live recordings.

Tracklist:

1. “Rebel’s Requiem”
