Kerry King, guitarist for Slayer, just revealed a North American tour that would take him and his supporting group, which includes Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph, to locations across the United States and Canada in January and February.

Along with special guests Municipal Waste and Alien Weaponry, they will play the lead role at New York City’s Irving Plaza on Friday, February 7th, late in the 28-concert run.

Following King’s recent tour with Lamb of God and Mastodon, the countrywide tour is in promotion of his recently released debut solo album, “From Hell I Rise.”

“We’re playing a longer set than we did with Lamb of God and Mastodon because we’ll be the main attraction on this next tour,” King stated. We’ll begin practicing the first week of November because we have a slight learning curve. Additionally, we might learn a cover song or two and add another Slayer song to the program.
