Dates Announced For Slipknot’s 2025 ‘Knotfest Australia’ Tour

The dates and locations for the next global heavy metal festival tour were announced today, and Knotfest Australia

will return for its third edition in February and March 2025.

The dates and locations you should be aware of are as follows:

Knotfest Australia will be held over a week in 2025. The excitement starts on Friday, February 28 at Flemington

Racecourse in Melbourne. On Sunday, March 2, the group will go to the Brisbane Showground, and on Saturday,

March 8, they will visit Centennial Park in Sydney.

Although the dates and locations have officially been announced, the lineup is still pending. However, you can

register here for early bird pre-sale tickets and line-up details. This Wednesday, October 16, at 7 p.m. AEDT, the

lineup is scheduled to be released.

However, we do know that the Iowa nu-metal veterans’ music festival, Slipknot—also known as Knotfest—will make

a comeback to Australia in February or March 2025 to serve as the event’s main act.

In March, Slipknot was announced as the main act for the next year. The band’s 25th anniversary festivities this year

began with tour dates that featured only songs from their 1999 self-titled album. Yes to Surfacing, but no Duality.

Fans who attended this year’s event, which was headlined by Pantera and Disturbed, will have first access to an

exclusive first run of tickets to Knotfest 2025, according to tour promoters Destroy All Lines, who also announced

that Slipknot will return to headline the Australian version of the festival next year. Those tickets will be accessible

before all other pre-sales.

Knotfest is well known for its two-stage setup that avoids clashes. The first Knotfest “was a RESOUNDING success,”

according to Tim Price, who reviewed the Brisbane event for The Music. “Blasting through tracks that spanned their

entire career, this was an experience far more than simply a festival set,” Price said of Slipknot’s headline

performance.
