The Cure Unveils Lost Album “Lost in the Noise” After 40 Years

London, UK – In a surprise move, British rock legends The Cure have announced the release of a lost album, titled “Lost in the Noise”, which was recorded in 1982 but never released.

The album, which features 10 previously unreleased tracks, was recorded during the sessions for their iconic album “Pornography”. However, due to creative differences and label pressures, the album was shelved and never saw the light of day.

“We’re thrilled to finally share this lost album with our fans,” said lead vocalist Robert Smith. “These songs are a time capsule of our creative process during that era, and we’re excited for fans to experience them.”

“Lost in the Noise” is set to be released on March 15, 2025, as a deluxe edition, featuring the original 10 tracks, plus bonus material, including demos, live recordings, and rare photos.

The album will be available on CD, vinyl, and digital formats, and can be pre-ordered now through the band’s official website.

To celebrate the release, The Cure will perform a special one-off concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London on April 10, 2025, where they will play the entire “Lost in the Noise” album live, along with other hits from their catalog.

Tickets for the concert go on sale on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 10am local time.
