Another amazing deal, as Plymouth Argyle announced they had acquired a player of exceptional talent…

Ibrahim Cissoko joined on a season-long loan from Toulouse, a French club.

The dynamic forward joins Argyle as their fourth summer addition following the recent additions of Darko Gyabi, Muhamed Tijani, and Nathanael Ogbeta.

The 21-year-old, who plays mostly as a left winger and has represented the Netherlands U21s, joined Toulouse from NEC Nijmegen last summer for an alleged €3 million fee. He has also performed for Vitesse Arnhem and VVV Venlo.

Wayne Rooney, the head coach of Argyle, expressed his happiness at signing Cissoko, saying, “We are extremely pleased that Ibrahim has agreed to join us for the season.” He is a technical, quick, and athletic winger who will strengthen our alternatives up front.

“I am confident that Argyle supporters will take great pleasure in witnessing him play; he is an exciting player.”

“Ibrahim has joined the team here in Spain and will start working right away as we look to put our ideas into practice for the team’s future playing style.”

Neil Dewsnip, director of football, continued, saying, “Bringing a player of Ibrahim’s calibre to Argyle is a true coup.”

“He was really eager to join Argyle after speaking with Wayne and the recruitment team, but he had several options this summer, including interest from the Premier League.”

“With his youthful energy and outstanding technical skills, he is the type of player we want to add to the team.

“Argyle supporters will undoubtedly love watching him play, and I’m thrilled to have completed another signing so early in the preseason.”

International clearance and EFL approval are pending. Ibrahim receives funding from C&D Electrical Plus.
