What a race for Tyler Reddick! He wins in overtime, defeating William Byron in the last overtime restart in Michigan. Days after his mentor, Scott Bloomquist, died in a plane accident, Reddick is back on top of the NASCAR Cup Series.

When the race resumed on Monday morning, Tyler Reddick was not driving a winning car. P6 to P20. Then he and his team remained patient. They made adjustments here and there and made it to Victory Lane.

Tyler Reddick was quick on Sunday. When activities resumed Monday morning, something didn’t seem right. But you have to give respect to the 23XI Racing crew for putting together a great race.

It took the entire squad and crew to secure this victory today. Reddick had to rediscover that speed again, and by the end of the race, it was evident that he was driving the fastest car on the track.

Sunday afternoon is rained out.

Of fact, this race took occurred during the last two days. It was basically Stage 1 on Sunday, followed by Stages 2 and 3 today to complete the process. As previously said, Tyler Reddick was quick early on, but not the fastest.

Reddick started the race in fifth place, trailing teammate Bubba Wallace, his owner Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Larson of Hendrick Motorsports. It was a pleasant and intriguing first stage in Michigan.

With the caution falling at the end of the stage, the leaders pitted before the first stint was over. That allowed Ryan Blaney to win the stage and earn another playoff point before the postseason.

Kyle Larson caused the big one at Michigan.

The race resumed this morning, resulting in a beautiful day with plenty of passing. This Next Gen vehicle is designed for Michigan and intermediate tracks like it.

Kyle Larson and others were engaged in a pit strategy game. A few flat tires prompted a caution flag, indicating that the race was lining up for a restart. It was supposed to be a race to the end of the stage, but it wasn’t.

Larson swung around in the middle of the field, colliding with a cluster of automobiles. Bubba Wallace sustained significant harm. Chris Buescher was involved, as were half a dozen others. Larson was eliminated from the race completely.

This set up an interesting points duel for the regular season championship and the final few playoff slots.

This race has almost everything. Rain delay, postponed Monday racing, a major wreck, and even a blowover! Corey LaJoie flipped during this race, however he was removed from the care centre safely.

As the pit strategies unfolded, it appeared to be a struggle between Chase Elliott and William Byron. Then things gradually began to alter. Tyler Reddick took his final pit stop and managed to pull ahead of the leaders.

Reddick was able to pull ahead by three seconds. His automobile was on fire late, but not literally; it was just as fast as hell. There seemed to be no stopping him, and then the warning came for the last time.

Martin Truex Jr. hit the wall, necessitating one final restart. Despite a solid start and a good effort, Byron was unable to stop Tyler Reddick. It was a close finish, but Reddick had perfect control as he approached the finish line.
