During his game against the Colts, Browns wide receiver David Bell welcomed a baby niece into the world.
About 300 friends and family members attended the game, including Kelly Hallinan Bell’s mother and a relative. Before being picked in 2022, the second-year athlete attended Purdue University and was born and raised in Indiana.
Bell referred to the newborn girl’s birth as a “blessing.”
He told the station, “Her whole idea was to try to have the baby before the game, but you know it is all in God’s time.” I have a new niece now, though. Consequently, I am hoping to see her when I return to the city.
One of the EMTs who assisted with the child’s delivery informed the Indianapolis Star’s regular requests for assistance come from hurting or unwell admirers.
Advanced EMT Ashley Vlaskamp of Indiana University Health stated, “But unless you work in labor and delivery, you do not walk into work and think, ‘I am going to go deliver a baby today,’ especially not at a football stadium.”
