Breaking: Kansas city chiefs revealed players need to add into the roster before the campaign start…

Training camp has already begun for the Kansas City Chiefs, who will soon welcome back the

quarterbacks and youngest players on the roster. There aren’t many gaps or significant position battles

worth keeping an eye on for a two-time Super Bowl champion. When they enter 2024, the key things to

monitor are their offensive development and their strong defensive play.

Though there aren’t many unanswered questions about the Chiefs’ roster, there will still be chances for

young players to make an impression this summer. Of course, this includes rookies who were undrafted

free agents this past April. Every year, a number of UDFAs make an impression in training camps and

end up on 53-man rosters. Will any of these guys end up on the roster in 2024? These four undrafted

free agents have the best chance of joining the Kansas City Chiefs.

RB Emani Bailey

Running back Emani Bailey stood out from the crowd coming out of TCU in a few ways. The long speed

is extremely real, above all. Bailey can hit a home run at any given time. The Chiefs may see Bailey as a

reliable depth player to rely on if needed simply because he added speed to the offense this

offseason.Bailey exhibits fluid body control in various areas, which helps him cause defenders to miss

and whiff carelessly. He can also change directions quickly. His footwork, jukes, and cuts always appear

so smooth and not messy. Bailey has the ability to develop into a well-rounded player in that area as

well, based on a few pass-catching reps.

RB Carson Steele

There is another undrafted free agent running back to consider because the depth at running back is so

seriously doubtful.

Carson Steele completed his studies at UCLA. How he overcomes run defenders is undeniable. As the

defense, Steele is a strong, powerful runner who won’t hesitate to pass through or over you. Moreover,

Steele has demonstrated his pad level and ball security, which are minor advantages.

The burst isn’t always nonexistent elsewhere. Even yet, it isn’t something that will often win him foot

races in the NFL. Steele’s ability to obtain NFL reps will come from effort, tenacity, and sheer hard work.

It’s plausible that Andy Reid could use more inventive running techniques. play calls if Steele is used in

the space between tackles.

DT Fabien Lovett

The Kansas City Chiefs’ defensive tackle room is an interesting one. Chris Jones, who has been among

the top NFL defenders in recent years, is an all-around player. However, this offseason, a large number

of defensive tackles re-signed with Kansas City on one-year contracts. Mike Pennel, Tershawn Wharton,

and Derrick Nnadi are among them. However, I think Fabien Lovett will remain around in this Chiefs

defense in the long run.

Lovett’s build is comparable to that of Nnadi, another former Florida State Seminole, thus he won’t

impress you in the box score or on the highlight reel. His NFL Scouting Combine measurements of 35.5″

and strength will be the keys to his success in the inside and gap filling. While observing .. Lovett might

wind up playing run defense for a team like the Chiefs, based on what I saw while he was at Florida

State.

LB Curtis Jacobs

Compared to running back or defensive tackle, the linebacker position has far more robust depth.

Furthermore, the Chiefs usually don’t carry as many linebackers on their first 53-man roster. Curtis

Jacobs, however, has a few reasons to believe he may earn a linebacker position. The Penn State

graduate offers a potent combination of agility and size. Above all, Jacobs’ versatility makes him a

potential match in Kansas City.

Working downhill, Jacobs was able to produce as a run-stopper for the Nittany Lions defense. He can

quickly take up space and attacks laterally with skill. Jacobs had some positive returns throughout his

blitzing. the quarterback in addition. How he performs in pass coverage during training camp and the

preseason will be interesting to watch. Nevertheless, with all of his qualities, don’t discount Jacobs’

prospects of signing a contract with the Chiefs straight away.
