Trent had 19 catches and saw some usage in the 2021 campaign. It was anticipated that he would play a bigger part in 2022, but that never materialized. He caught four passes in the 2022 campaign.

Acknowledging that his brother was not going to be included in the future plans, Creed transferred to Mississippi State in October of 2022.

Since then, Trent has moved to UCF, where in the last 1.5 seasons, he has made four catches.

Although Creed appeared explosive in his two catches against Florida on Saturday, his overall usage in 2024 has been low. The former Gainesville commit to Florida declared he would be sitting out the remainder of the 2024 season in order to maintain his eligibility, and he would be transferring.

He now joins the other two well-known announcements made on Wednesday. When UNLV’s Matthew Sluka declared he will miss the remainder of the 2024 season because of a NIL dispute, the announcement created a stir across the country. Bear Alexander, a former five-star defensive tackle who is currently at USC, likewise declared he will sit out the remainder of 2024 since he wasn’t happy with his playing time.
