Sabaton re-signs with Nuclear Blast & announces new single Livgardet out February 26
We are thrilled to share the news of our recent collaboration with NUCLEAR BLAST! In preparation for our
upcoming single and many more, we have officially re-signed with our long-time label home!
Our first new song since 2019’s “The Great War,” “Livgardet,” will be released on February 26.
The song, which is in Swedish, pays tribute to the Swedish Royal Guards, which were founded in 1521.
The team behind Nuclear Blast declared:
Because we are celebrating and announcing today the expansion of our connection with one of the most successful
metal bands in history, the formidable SABATON, the level of enthusiasm at Nuclear Blast is at an all-time high!
Cheers to many more years of dominance and success together!
As Par said:
“We have been working with Nuclear Blast for over ten years, and at the end of last year, we signed the contract for
the upcoming releases. It feels good to continue working with the biggest heavy metal label in the world, Nuclear
Blast, and we will continue to write metal history together.”
Joakim went on:
“Gosh, it’s nice to sing in Swedish once more!”
The managing director of Believe (Germany), Thorsten Freese, also said:
Believe is thrilled about the opportunity to contribute to the long-term growth of the partnership between SABATON
and Nuclear Blast Records, two of the best Metal bands. We are aware of the significance of the two brands, and we
fully support and comprehend their top markets. Cheers to many more years of continuous success.
In October 2018, Nuclear Blast partnered with the now-majority shareholder, Believe Digital. With the basic values
of respect, equity, and openness, Believe provides knowledge and experience in developing record labels and artists
at every stage of their careers in every market worldwide. Since its founding in 1987, Nuclear Blast has emerged as
the most powerful name in hard-hitting extreme music, breaking down conventional boundaries and venturing into
unexplored territories that other labels have not yet reached. Rob Zombie, Slayer, Nightwish, Avantasia, Blind
Guardian, Machine Head, Testament, In Flames, Accept, and many more are among the metal genre heavyweights
on the label’s roster. Nuclear Blast never compromises its foundations as it moves towards an ambitious future.
