THE REVOLUTION SIGNS IN A YOUNG TALENTED MUSICIAN TO THE TEAM

Minneapolis, MN – Legendary funk-rock band The Revolution, best known for their work with Prince, has announced the exciting addition of 22-year-old musician, Maya Wilder, to their lineup.

Wilder, a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, has been making waves in the Minneapolis music scene with her unique blend of rock, R&B, and electronic influences. Her energetic live performances and soulful voice have drawn comparisons to Prince himself.

The Revolution’s keyboardist, Matt Fink, expressed his enthusiasm about the new recruit, saying, “We’re thrilled to welcome Maya to the team. Her talent, passion, and dedication to her craft are a perfect fit for our band’s legacy and future direction.”

Wilder will join The Revolution’s original members, including Fink, guitarist Wendy Melvoin, bassist BrownMark, and drummer Bobby Z, for their upcoming tour and studio recordings.

When asked about joining the iconic band, Wilder said, “It’s an absolute honor to be a part of The Revolution’s next chapter. I’m excited to learn from these legendary musicians, contribute my own unique perspective, and help carry on Prince’s legacy.”

The Revolution, with Maya Wilder, will embark on a nationwide tour this summer, performing a mix of their classic hits and new material.
