Norwich City can confirm that striker Carlton Morris is set to be sidelined for several months after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
Morris sustained the injury during Shrewsbury Town’s League One play-off final loss to Rotherham United on Sunday. He will be sidelined for a few months.
With ten goals in the 2017–18 campaign, the 22-year-old was a major contributor to Salop’s run to the play-off final.
“Carlton has had a brilliant season on loan at Shrewsbury and this injury comes as a huge blow for him,” stated Stuart Webber, Sporting Director.
“However he is a positive, driven young lad and I have no doubt that, together with the support of everyone at Norwich City, he will return to full fitness as soon as possible.”
We at Norwich City want to wish Carlton the finest possible care as he heals.
