Breaking: Sabaton announces date for the release of their new album…

SABATON Is Plotting A New Album

Frontman Joakim Broden of the Swedish power metal band Sabaton says the band is getting ready to write a new

album.

According to Broden, the band is now in the “planning phase” for the next album and plans to begin writing soon, as

said in an interview with Backstage TV from the Czech Republic.

“We always have a plan,” Broden stated. “We’re constantly considering our next course of action. And we’re currently

working on the next album’s planning. I’m excited for a laid-back summer, but I’m also excited to start writing more

music for the future. A release date has not yet been set. We don’t put in a lot of effort into it, yet it will turn out well.

I’ll take a chance and drive over. Chris [Rörland, guitar] and I will sit down, have a few beers, gather all our ideas,

and compose some music. In actuality, it’s a pleasant thing to do.”

Broden added that although the band is “always looking for inspiration,” they are not yet certain of the new album’s

theme.

“We’re always looking for new stories to tell,” he stated. We’re constantly searching for fresh topics to write about.

Thus, we’ll wait and see.”

Released in 2022, the band’s final album, The War to End All Wars, was a commercial triumph, peaking at number

one on the Swedish album chart and number eight on the Billboard Top Rock Albums list. The CD was well-received

by critics as well, who appreciated its poignant and dramatic songs about World War I.

With over 10 million albums sold worldwide, Sabaton is one of the most well-known power metal bands in the world.

The group is well-known for both their dynamic live performances and historical topics. Let’s see what else this

influential band has in store for us.
