The Seattle Seahawks have opened training camps and are continuing to make changes, including
pursuing offensive line athleticism.
In addition to signing Jalen Sundell this week and hosting free agency guard Connor Williams, the
Hawks announced on Wednesday that they have also signed interior offensive lineman Ilm Manning.
During the 2018 season, Manning was a teammate of former Seahawks receiver John Ursua while
playing at the University of Hawaii.
Manning, a small but extremely athletic offensive lineman, carries on the Seahawks’ offseason practice of
emphasizing athleticism up front.
In 2023, Manning signed as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers. However, he was
waived before final roster cuts, and the Arizona Cardinals claimed him at that point. He was waived by
the Cardinals prior to Week 5, at which point he returned to the 49ers as a member of the practice
squad, from which the Carolina Panthers stole him in December.
Tremayne Anchrum was released by the Seahawks to make place for Manning.
The team also declared that D.J. James and Nehemiah Pritchett, two rookie cornerbacks, had cleared
their physicals and were taken off the Injuries list not related to football.
