‘Very sick’ Corey Taylor cancels European festival performances

Stone and Slipknot Due to an undisclosed ailment, Sour frontman Corey Taylor has cancelled two of his festival

appearances.

The 50-year-old rock star announced via social media yesterday, Wednesday, June 12, that he will not be performing

at the Rock For People event in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, later that evening.

Taylor tweeted, “I regret to inform my friends and family in the Czech Republic that I will not be able to perform at

the Rock For People festival because I woke up feeling really ill today.”

“On the road, my band and crew’s health and safety always come first, and I don’t want to cause any more problems

by trying to perform today.

Slipknot and Stone Corey Taylor, the vocalist of Sour, has cancelled two of his festival engagements due to an

unidentified illness.

Yesterday, Wednesday, June 12, the 50-year-old rock musician made the announcement on social media that he will

not be playing at the Rock For People concert later that evening in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic.

Taylor wrote on Twitter, “I regret to inform my friends and family in the Czech Republic that I will not be able to

perform at the Rock For People festival because I woke up feeling really ill today.”

“The health and safety of my band and crew always come first when we’re on the road, and I don’t want to cause any

extra issues by trying to play today.

On Sunday night, June 16, Corey Taylor will perform on the Opus Stage at his cherished Download Festival.

Taylor went on a headline UK tour before to the release of his second solo album, “CMF2,” which was released in

December of last year.

Everybody at Kerrang! Radio hopes that Corey recovers quickly.
