
SOUNDGARDEN SETS TO REUNITE FOR 2025 GLOBAL CHARITY CONCERT, HINTS AT NEVER-BEFORE-HEARD MUSIC RELEASE
Seattle, WA – In a surprise announcement, Soundgarden’s remaining members – Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd, and Matt Cameron – have revealed plans to reunite for a one-night-only global charity concert in 2025.
The concert, titled “Echoes for a Cause,” will take place on July 17, 2025, at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, with proceeds going to support various music education and mental health initiatives.
In a statement, the band said, “We’re honored to come together again to celebrate the music and legacy of Soundgarden, while also supporting important causes that were close to Chris’s heart.”
The reunion concert will feature a special guest vocalist, who will be announced in the coming weeks. The setlist will include a mix of Soundgarden classics, as well as some surprises.
In addition to the concert, the band has hinted at the possibility of releasing never-before-heard Soundgarden music, including demos and unreleased tracks from the Chris Cornell era.
“We’ve been digging through the archives and have uncovered some incredible material that we think fans will love,” said Kim Thayil. “We’re not ready to announce any details just yet, but let’s just say that 2025 is shaping up to be a big year for Soundgarden.”
