BREAKING: The Chicago Bears Receivers spar on the seventh day of training camp…

The other receivers on the roster are striving to prove they belong as the Bears add Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze to a receiver room that already features DJ Moore. Tyler Scott, a wideout in his second year, is among them.

We attempt not to focus on everything that is going on, or the “noise,” as it were, as we undoubtedly had a noisy offseason. And I just had to accept that such things will occur. That’s just how the game and the industry work. Thus, for me, it’s just a matter of sort of shutting those things out; I like to refer to this as working in my bubble or square and concentrating just on the things under my control. Be the best player on the pitch, regardless of who else is playing. I want to be able to demonstrate it since that has always been my perspective.”

Bears' Matt Eberflus not happy with offense performance on day 7 of training camp

Velus Jones Jr. has only caught 11 catches in two seasons as a wide receiver with the Bears, so far in his third season, and he hasn’t had much of an impact. Though he believes he can still be a good pass receiver, he characterises himself as somewhat of a hybrid running back/receiver.

“As I mentioned before, I’m going to use this preseason to prove it to myself. I mean, it’s in me; I just need to keep healthy and take care of myself naturally,” he remarked.

The new kickoff rule, which is predicted to result in more returns, excites Velus as well. He claims that the Bears will undoubtedly see more kickoff returns for touchdowns because of his size and speed.
