The Cure Unreleased Epic Single “Restless” Set to Drop After 34 Years
London, UK – Legendary British rock band The Cure has announced the release of their long-lost, unreleased epic single, recorded in 1991.
Title: “Restless”
Release Date: December 1, 2025
“Restless” is a sprawling, 10-minute track that was initially recorded during the sessions for The Cure’s iconic album “Wish.” However, the song was shelved due to its ambitious scope and the band’s desire to focus on more concise material.
According to frontman Robert Smith:
“We’re thrilled to finally share this lost epic with our fans. ‘Restless’ is a sweeping, cinematic soundscape that showcases the band’s experimental spirit.”
The single has been meticulously restored and remastered from the original tapes, featuring The Cure’s signature blend of atmospheric guitars, driving rhythms, and Smith’s soaring vocals.
To celebrate the single’s release, The Cure will perform a series of special live shows in the UK and Europe, featuring a career-spanning setlist and a special performance of “Restless” in its entirety.
Tour Dates:
– December 5, 2025: London, Wembley Arena
– December 7, 2025: Paris, AccorHotels Arena
– December 9, 2025: Berlin, Mercedes-Benz Arena
Pre-orders for “Restless” begin October 1, 2025. Fans can expect exclusive bonus content and early access to tour tickets.
