THE SHADOWS LOST ALBUM “REFLECTIONS” RESURFACES AFTER 45 YEARS
London, UK – In a remarkable discovery, the legendary British instrumental rock band The Shadows has announced the recovery of their lost album, “Reflections”, which has been missing for 45 years.
Recorded in 1978, “Reflections” was intended to be the follow-up to The Shadows’ successful album “Tasty”. However, due to a change in record labels and internal band conflicts, the album was shelved and never officially released.
The lost album resurfaced when a former EMI Records archivist contacted The Shadows’ guitarist, Bruce Welch, with news of the album’s discovery in a long-forgotten storage vault.
“I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard the news,” said Bruce Welch. “We had given up hope of ever finding ‘Reflections’. It’s a remarkable feeling to know that our lost music will finally see the light of day.”
“Reflections” features 12 previously unreleased tracks, showcasing The Shadows’ signature blend of rock, pop, and jazz instrumentals. The album has been meticulously restored and remastered from the original tapes.
The Shadows will celebrate the release of “Reflections” with a series of live concerts and a special edition CD and vinyl package, including rare photos, liner notes, and bonus tracks.
“Reflections” is set to be released on March 15, 2025, through Universal Music. Fans can pre-order the album now and experience a piece of music history that was thought to be lost forever.
