Jonathan Rowe will arrive in Marseille over the next few hours to complete his move from Norwich City.
Foot Mercato reports that the player is already on his way to France to seal the deal following an agreement.
According to reports earlier today, Norwich and Marseille had reached a verbal agreement on Rowe. According to the sources, he would join on loan with a mandatory purchase clause.
FM confirms that Marseille has agreed to pay a €2 million loan fee plus a mandatory €14.5 million next summer for the winger.
That arrangement is now in place, and Rowe appears to have received clearance from Norwich to fly to Marseille. According to FM, he will arrive to the French club ‘in the next few hours’.
He will then most likely be scheduled for a medical with Roberto de Zerbi’s side before completing his transfer from Norwich.
He will be Marseille’s latest addition in a busy summer, as the club has done everything possible to support Roberto de Zerbi in the transfer window as they prepare for an ambitious season under the Italian coach.
