DONE DEAL: Carolina Panthers added a wide receiver to strengthen their roster…

Prior to training camp, the Panthers added a second wideout, a man who was productive in the UFL.

Daewood Davis, a wide receiver, recently worked out for the team before being signed.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Davis led the Memphis Showboats in receiving this spring, earning him a spot on the All-UFL squad.

He hauled in 41 catches for 446 yards and five scores in ten games.

After taking a helmet-to-helmet hit during the preseason, he was waived injured while still in camp with the Dolphins the previous year.

He attended Western Kentucky and Oregon for his collegiate career.

With his acquisition, the team’s roster is up to 90 players, making training camp start in late July.
