DEALS DONE: Leeds united finalizes three blockbuster trades with three young incredibly gifted stars in a day.

Leeds United confirm third new deal in a day with full-back signing at Elland Road

One of the FA Youth Cup heroes from the previous season and Leeds United have agreed to a first professional contract. Two months after making a significant contribution on the left side of the under-18s defense in May’s championship, Dan Toulson signed a one-year contract with the Whites.

During that prestigious competition, the 18-year-old participated in every minute of play and impressed everyone with his leadership and adaptability. As Toulson develops, United has taken steps to bind him to a first professional contract. He even made an impression with Scott Gardner’s Under-21 team.

“Leeds United is pleased to announce Dan Toulson has signed his first professional contract with the club,” read a statement from the team. The eighteen-year-old has signed a one-year contract that will keep him developing at Thorp Arch through 2025.

“Toulson is a defensive option with versatility who excelled for the Whites’ under-18 and under-21 teams last season while playing as a holding midfielder, center-half, and left-back. Playing every minute of our previous season’s FA Youth Cup adventure, Toulson led his teammates with pride at the Etihad Stadium as they advanced to the competition’s final.

“Everyone at Elland Road would like to congratulate Dan on signing professional terms with the club and we look forward to seeing his development over the coming season.”

Over the course of the next day, it is anticipated that further contract agreements involving the club’s young players would be revealed. The first professional contracts for Joe Richards, Harry Christy, and Reuben Lopata-White were revealed on Tuesday.
