Due to some problems, Real Madrid has declined to sell Norwich their brilliant player who…

Norwich City may not be able to get Real Madrid’s Reinier, an attacking midfielder, according to Manoj Daswani of El Dia, a Spanish newspaper.

Reinier, a Brazilian for Los Blancos, is reportedly of interest to Norwich City, according to outlets like The Athletic. The 22-year-old Brazilian would not go to Marbella with Real Madrid Castilla, according to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic.

Cortegana stated that the Canaries were expressing a tangible interest in the young Brazilian, but this was “pending the resolution of his future.” It was reported that the Championship team was investigating the possibility of a loan with a buyout option for Reinier.

But according to El Dia reporter Daswani, CD Tenerife, who plays in La Segunda, has joined the chase. The league has allowed the second-tier team to add one extra player, and this acquisition does not need a player to leave the team.

Daswani continues, “Real Madrid rejected Norwich City’s first offer for Brazilian Reinier.” Top Spanish teams have received offers from Reinier’s representatives to play for them.

He continues by saying that Tenerife would be “well positioned” to finalise a deal on Wednesday or Thursday of this week if no elite team is interested in signing him.

Obstacle in Reinier’s pursuit

When Real Madrid acquired Reinier from Flamengo in late January 2020, the deal was estimated to have cost the Blancos roughly £26 million. Since then, the young player has been out on loan to Frosinone, Girona, and Borussia Dortmund.

From U16 to U23s, the young Brasilian has represented Brazil at the youth divisions. He has scored 12 goals for the Seleção in 24 games.

For every loan side he has played for, he has scored goals. In addition, he has played in three of the best divisions in Europe and has Champions League football experience.

During the current transfer window, Norwich City has lost a number of talented attacking players. A number of people have left Carrow Road, including Jonathan Rowe, Adam Idah, and Gabriel Sara.

It will never be easy to replace a player of his level. If Norwich could pull this off, signing Reinier Jesus would be a great move, but after a bid was rejected and the window of opportunity closed, things are looking tight.

Any hope for Reinier’s pursuit?

Tenerife’s curiosity in him is a potential pitfall that the Canaries may encounter. Reporter Daswani of El Dia concedes, however, that Tenerife views Reinier as a backup.

This is in case they are unable to reach a consensus on a move for Joni Montiel of Rayo Vallecano, another target for whom multiple bids have been made.

That should instill fresh hope in Norwich City that, with enough effort, they may sign Brazilian Reinier, who hasn’t had much of an impact at Santiago Bernabeu.

The Canaries should make a move if they have any chance of landing him. For Johannes Hoff Thorup’s team in the Championship, the youthful Brazilian might prove to be a revelation.
