Heartbreaking: Atlanta braves legend involved in a car accident…

According to Ann Keil of WSVN 7News in Miami, Atlanta Braves infielder Sean Rodriguez was hurt in a car accident on Saturday along with his wife Giselle and their two small children. The man who caused the collision perished in it, according to the authorities.

Rodriguez and his family were sitting in an SUV when the Miami-Dade Police Department cruiser was stolen by an unidentified individual, who then T-boned the vehicle. The cruiser caught fire as a result of the accident, according to Keil.

The Braves released a statement saying, “We are aware that Braves player Sean Rodriguez and his family were involved in a very serious car accident Saturday night in Miami, Florida,” according to Keil. Our current concerns and prayers are for Sean’s family’s health and wellbeing as they look to recover.”

The hospital described his two-year-old and eight-year-old children’s conditions as stable but serious.

The native of Miami, Rodriguez inked a two-year contract with the Braves in November.

The 31-year-old has split time between the Pittsburgh Pirates, Tampa Bay Rays, and Los Angeles Angels during his nine years in the major leagues. With the exception of pitcher and catcher, he filled seven positions for the Pirates in the previous campaign, registering a career-high hitting average of.270.
