A Norwich City footballer has been sentenced to a year in prison for causing a horrible automobile crash in which three people were injured after losing control of his vehicle while consuming hippy crack.
In April, Flynn Clarke’s BMW drifted into the opposing lane and collided with a camper, leaving a passenger believing he would never be able to walk again.
A court heard that the professional footballer, 20, lost control after striking a kerb while entering a roundabout after inhaling laughing gas.
The motorhome’s driver was seriously injured in the collision as well.
Clarke, who has previously represented Scotland’s under-21 team, has acknowledged three charges of driving dangerously and causing serious injury.
