INJURY UPDATE: Braves’ dazzling megastar strike out with terrible injury that may sideline him for some games…

Jorge Soler has returned to the Atlanta Braves, where he hopes to help them make another deep playoff run. However, the 32-year-old slugger is suffering with hamstring pain, which will most likely force him to miss a few games but will not end his season.

Michael Harris II is back in action after recovering from a hamstring injury, but the Braves are still without another crucial position player. Fortunately, Soler is listed as day-to-day on the MLB injury updates page.

The MLB injury page states: “Soler had encouraging news on Thursday, when an MRI exam revealed only a moderate left hamstring strain. The outfielder will sit out Friday’s series opening in Anaheim, but he believes he might play this weekend against the Angels. Braves manager Brian Snitker may take a conservative approach and rest Soler until the start of next week’s series against the Phillies.”

Jorge Soler looks to bolster the Braves’ outfield down the stretch of the 2024 season.

Soler has picked up where he left off in Atlanta, with a.978 OPS and 11 RBI in 13 games. He’s effectively filling in for MVP Ronald Acuña Jr. and adding to the offence.

Braves' Jorge Soler receives pivotal injury update

The Braves have a 64-57 record, which is good enough to qualify for the Wild Card round but not enough to keep up with the Philadelphia Phillies. Soler’s health is critical as they prepare to face their division opponent. That is a series that the Braves need make sure he is healthy for, especially given the other issues. Allowing him to relax against the inferior Los Angeles Angels is wise.

Will Soler hit high drives into left field, saying goodbye to baseballs? Will the Braves see any monster blasts in their quest for another championship? Only time will tell.
