INJURY UPDATE: Rangers gifted player long time injury clears and he sets for the pitch…

Danilo Reflects On Return From Injury

The Brazilian forward has had a difficult road to return, but he is looking forward to playing in his first full preseason with the team after missing seven months.

After going back to training, he told RangersTV, “It’s been great.” Now that I’m back with the team, all of my hard work—both outside and in the gym—has paid off. Spending time with the guys is fantastic.

When I think back, it’s been crazy. I wish I could have done some things, but I was unable to do them at that particular time. Although difficult, those experiences have strengthened me.

“Everyone has given me a great deal of confidence because they were all really patient and laid back with me.

“I’m not 100% done yet, but I’m working hard to get there. There’s a lot more to do.”

“I arrived later last year, so I was unable to participate in the entire pre-season. Getting that connection and starting pre-season with the boys is a terrific idea.

“It has been a lengthy journey for me, and the most crucial thing is that I look after my knee and make sure it is fully recovered in time for the season to begin.”

Meanwhile, Danilo thinks that reaching a big personal achievement was essential to maintaining his positive outlook about becoming a father.

As full-back Jefte arrived in Glasgow, another Brazilian, also named Danilo, 25, joined the team. Danilo was eager to take on a mentoring role and assist his young compatriot in adjusting to life at Rangers.

“I didn’t want to be in that situation when my daughter was just coming into the world,” he continued. “My daughter was almost born when I done my knee.”

However, I could already carry and stroll her when she was born. She was incredibly strong for me during those difficult times, and she has been the light in the darkness for me.

They sent us a really lovely note, and they are now overjoyed that I’m back on the pitch. The guys are a member of my family and they are incredibly adorable.

It’s funny that Jeffe may speak a little bit differently to me because he comes from a different part of Sao Paulo.

“I want to be accountable for making him feel as comfortable as possible, and I need to help him quite a bit.

“He’s a really nice boy who will contribute a lot, but his English will improve with time.”
