JR Motorsports is gearing up for an exciting new season in 2025 as they announce the addition of
Carson Kvapil to their full-time roster. The talented 21-year-old, son of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
champion Travis Kvapil, will be taking the wheel of the No. 1 Chevrolet, a move that has garnered much
attention in the racing community.
Kvapil made a notable impression during his part-time stint with JR Motorsports in 2024, where he
showcased his skills across eight races in the No. 88 car. During this time, he notched up an impressive
record, achieving three top-five finishes and four top-ten results. One of his standout performances came
at Dover, where he led for 14 laps before being overtaken by Ryan Truex in a thrilling finish that saw him
secure a runner-up position.
For the upcoming season, Bass Pro Shops will serve as the primary sponsor for Kvapil’s No. 1 car. This
partnership not only reflects the brand’s longstanding relationship with JR Motorsports but also
highlights the growing momentum surrounding Kvapil’s career.
The young driver is set to join a competitive lineup at JR Motorsports, where he will be racing alongside
Conor Zilisch, another standout rookie who has been making waves. The addition of these fresh faces
signals a new chapter for the team as they look to build on their success and challenge for top honors in
the Xfinity Series.
As the team prepares for the 2025 season, Justin Allgaier is also expected to continue with JR
Motorsports, further strengthening their lineup. With the excitement building around Carson Kvapil and
his potential, fans can look forward to an exhilarating season ahead filled with promise and high-octane
racing action.
