Former Ravens OT Leaves Jets Game After Injury
Towards the end of the third quarter of the New York Jets’ game against the New England Patriots on Thursday night at MetLife Stadium, former Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Morgan Moses was injured.
Moses was clumsily rolled up on as Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was sacked. Trainers attended to him while he lay on the grass, clearly in pain. Though he managed to leave on his own, he returned to the changing area. Kaylee Hartung, an Amazon Prime reporter, stated during the show that Moses’ injury is to his left knee.
The Jets led 21-3 at the time of the injury. Before that play, Rodgers had already thrown two touchdowns by the conclusion of the third quarter, and Moses and the New York offensive line had only allowed one sack of him.
Moses has demonstrated extreme dependability during his lengthy NFL career. Moses, who Washington selected in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft, has only missed two complete seasons of play (2014, 2023). Last season, he was out of three Ravens games.
Apart from that, he has started every one of his five career postseason games and 146 of 154 regular-season games.
In the 2022 offseason, Moses signed a $15 million, three-year contract with Baltimore. He played in 31 regular-season games with the Ravens, starting all of them. This past March, the Ravens traded him to the Jets for the No. 135 overall pick and the Nos. 113 and 218 overall pick.
Devin Leary, the quarterback for Kentucky, and Devontez Walker, the receiver from North Carolina, were chosen by the Ravens with these picks.
Moses will now have more time to recover before the Jets’ Sunday, September 29, Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos.
As for the Ravens, they’ll visit the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.O
