Freddie Freeman moved to tears after Dodgers fans acknowledge his struggle, son’s health
After being away from the baseball field for more than a week to spend time with his family since July
25, Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman returned to the field. At one point, the cause of
Freeman’s exit was unknown, but the baseball player and his spouse later disclosed that their three-year-
old son, Maximus, was facing significant health issues.
“We have never experienced days as difficult or terrifying as we have now. Maximus is such a unique
youngster, and he has been putting up a fierce struggle. Although it will take time for him to heal fully,
we have faith that he will,” Chelsea Freeman posted on social media.
Guillain-Barre syndrome, which the Mayo Clinic describes as a disorder in which the immune system
assaults the nerves. The tiny child was brought to the hospital to have his lungs reinforced because he
had been completely paralyzed.
On Monday, the Freeman family brought Maximus home, enabling Freddie to rejoin the Dodgers.

Los Angeles Dodgers, fans honor Freddie Freeman’s son Maximus
On Monday, Dodgers employees and players showed support for the Freeman family by donning t-shirts
with the hashtag #MaxStrong. Following the game, Freeman said that it was the first of several incidents
that made Monday night for him quite emotional. But for the past week or so, he could not help but
think of Max and all the other struggling kids he would met in the intensive care unit.
Freeman stated, “He did not deserve this,” according to ESPN. “Anybody who experiences this does not
deserve it. It extends beyond my family. Every night we were going to the [pediatric ICU], and every
room was full. And that breaks my heart. Such experiences are shared by a great number of families.
Among those who are fortunate enough to have Guillain-Barré, we hope that he will fully recover. There
exist There are children out there who are currently struggling for their life. It simply puts everything
into context.”
In his comeback, Freeman went 1 for 4 with 2 strikeouts during the Dodgers’ victory over the Phillies.
The outcome, while good for Los Angeles and all the supporters present on a night Freddie and his
family will never forget, did not matter, and neither did the figures. In the front row were Freeman’s
father and stepmother.
“I know this annoys Dodger supporters, but if I had to watch that again, I would cheerfully strike out
300 million times in a row with the bases loaded in Game 7 of the World Series. Still, he is en route. He
is got his manner. Regarding his experience, Freeman remarked, “It is going to be a long road.”
Max’s journey to recovery is about to commence. He has to relearn “how to do pretty much everything,”
but according to his father, his personality is back (Freeman). He is also fortunate enough to have
survived the intensive care unit in the first place.
Right now, our thoughts are with the Freeman family.
